I haven't always put websites together. Oh no. Once I was a three year old who hadn't heard of the internet, or email or any of those exciting things. Yes, life was much duller then!
Growing up, in Scotland, I got various degrees in fascinating things (French, Information Management, Translation, etc), some of them more useful than others.
I did various jobs in publishing and education, lots of travelling (for work and pleasure), a spot of volunteering and quite a lot of having fun. Along the way, somehow, I picked up some extremely handy skills like writing HTML and CSS. And I'm adding to my skills all the time.
A while back I started getting asked to put websites together and now it seems to be my job. Funny how these things happen, eh?
Nowadays I'm based in London, where I live with my lovely husband, gorgeous three year old daughter and our four cats. I came here for a year, 23 years ago, "to see what it's like" and haven't managed to achieve escape velocity since. Just as well I like it then.
